Is It OK to Not Watch the New Inception Trailer?

By the way the new Inception trailer looks good , but as we spoke here in the past a little about this ,
some trailers are giving too much away in my opinion .

I think most trailers give too much away because there's not that much in the film. Just look at ironman 2. It had all these elements to it but none of them were particularly well developed, so what they show in the trailer is pretty much what you need to know. The only reason left to see it is Downey's still amazing acting and maybe to drool over Gweneth Paltrow.

Well, all action movies follow this script:

1) life goes on normally...
2) ...but bad guy plans bad things... and does them!
3) ...the hero raises and confronts the bad guy
4) ....bad guy seems to win but...
5) ...at the last moment, good guy prevails.
6) End titles with stirring soundtrack.

The best thing in action movies are VFX and the soundtrack. The story is not among them because... there is NO story to start with.

Yeah, games seem to be the medium with the decent storylines these days. Ok so crysis, just cause, call of duty, endwar and tomb raider all suck saggy balls, but there are some spectacular examples of great storytelling. STALKER is always quite an oppressive story and Mafia II looks like it'll have the most epic storyline in gaming history, perhaps .
