A depiction of early ruins somewhere in the west. Thanks to dandelO for the Spring Ash tree model; and, Ogre for the Ruin model.

I used the soft filter when rendering that I now regret.

Seth

very nice ground.
you always have good light Bob ^^

Henry Blewer

I like the ruin. You have made a good start with the foliage.

I think the softer AA filter actually looks quite nice. If you want a bit sharper, try an Unsharp Mask (in Photoshop) or a decent sharpen filter (in any other app). It should sharpen up nicely while keeping the smooth look it has now, which is a good thing. Just don't overdo the sharpening.

Thanks for the tip Oshyan. I tried this one render with a sharper filter but didn't like it. I will try your idea next time around. And, thanks for all visiting.

Outstanding clouds Bob, and the rest of the render is great too.

great job, Bob, soemtimes I will use USM in photoshop, even with a small radius like 0.2 pixels can be enough, alternatively duplicating the layer and using the high pass filter with a similar pixel radius, then set your layer blending mode to your choice, flatten and output etc....

no one has said anything about the clouds yet, so, i'll just say i think they look pretty good for this scene :)
