This is an early test render for a new project. I am having difficulty with the lighting, but I'll get it...

Very good Henry; this image delivers the feel of coolness in the air.

Thank you everyone!
Here is a full render at detail 1 and AA 7. I used the Catmull pixel shader.

But I am not quite as pleased with it as I thought I would have been. So, I'll start from scratch and keep the fall theme.

something's with your monitor, Henry, as all your images are way too dark. You must have a very bright monitor, I suppose.

Nope, not the monitor. I have it calibrated for Corel Paint X2. I have also checked it with Microsoft and the THX calibration available on some DVDs.
He he, I always think your images are too bright.

Here's a test render of a new scene. I kept in mind Frank's 'too dark' comment.
Rendered at detail 0.375 , AA 3. I increased the camera exposure and the render gamma.

You know, I still prefer the very first image.

A render with the sun low behind the clouds. A silhouette experiment really. This one is nice and dark.

The last one has photo quality! (perhaps because one can't see that much, actually
