those last two renders are frickin' awesome   
i particularly like the tower in the background, it has a mysterious feel to it.

I'd say add some more green to the mountain, maybe not a whole lot, but do add some.

I am now rendering the final image @ 2500x1137 detail 1 aa 9 gi 2,3
cloud samples 140 atmo (for both) 94 samples I will leave it now for a few days to render   !

in post processing im thinking about adding in a small space cruiser that's been pre rendered in tg2 also I am thinking of composing 2 final versions one with stormy billowy clouds the other with much warmer colours similar to above

as a piece of art? yes I do prefer the postworked clouds.
I know you don't care too much about the challenge in making TG2 render clouds like these, as long as you get to the desired end result the method doesn't matter.
I think you could make clouds in TG2 that look like this, but you need to invest time to get there
