I bought one to use as a portable portfolio to show off our photography.
I'm not generally an Apple fan, but it's a good product. Would like to see the latest version of iOS on it to get even the limited multi-tasking they now allow. I don't care for the fact that you have no control over the sort order of your photographs when they are displayed is a major annoyance. But ... there's an app for that. For $15 you can buy a portfolio app.
Anyway, very slick piece of hardware and the response when I show images is invariably a good one.

iApps are waaay overpriced. Windows gives you an image editor, a media player, a few games, and even control over the order of your photos all free. Win7 throws in an antivirus and a wallpaper changer too.
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

... and linux distributions give you hundreds of applications for free.
But that's not the major point. In the end you get what you pay for. If the quality is great, I don't mind paying a price.
