Hi,

Came up with a new idea; a forest in the middle of a lake. Believe it or not, the water level is at about -2200 and the surface layer for the snow is about -1500 for minimum altitude. Don't know why ... maybe someone could tell me?
Anyway, hope the pic still looks good. Took about 4 hours to render at 0.8 quality (3 Anti-Aliasing). Comments appreciated.
Heard of computer graphics? CG? Terragen 2, the landscape generating program, also known as TG, a whole cool way to create realistic CG - with TG.

The terrain fractal, alpine or regular, displaces from 0,0,0. So when you have massive displacements, they are applied in both negative and positive directions. I use the offset in the displacement tab of the fractal to alter this. Just increase it to what seems better.
