No modifier keys down, just the mouse wheel itself.

Is anyone reading this thread running Windows 7 64-bit?

Since two mouse devices attached to the computer both exhibit the same problem, I'm not so convinced it's a mouse driver issue.

I'm using win7 64 bit with a Logitech G3 mouse, no problems. I doubt however I ever bothered installing Logitech's drivers, its just running on windows 7 default drivers (unless of course windows has automatically dl'd the Logitech drivers). Just checked, its using windows vanilla "HID compliant device" drivers.

Good to know at least one person confirms it's working with the same OS, thanks.

Good news...

There was an update available for the touchpad mouse driver today that resolved the scrolling issue for the touchpad.  The Microsoft mouse still doesn't work, but I'll see if I can find a specific driver for that mouse (currently it's using the default Windows 7 one it seems).  Or maybe just find a new mouse.

Thanks for the update, glad to hear you've resolved at least half the problem. Hopefully the MS mouse driver will take care of the rest. :)
