Many of you do not have a P4. This really only has one processor core. It can run many threads at once, but a heavy CPU use program like T2? It's not quite able to handle the image sizes I choose.
When I start a large image, I plan on two or three days for an image to finish. Microsoft thinks that by not responding to the download notification within a few hours, it's okay to just install and reboot.

Just switch off the internet connection when rendering. I always work offline, and ones in a while switch to online and do stuff that needs to be done.

I am usually online with someone. Thank god I don't own a cell phone. I would be texting constantly.

Nice, John! Sometimes, the quickies are the best. You can, like you say, slave for weeks sometimes, tweaking and fiddling and not get as nice results, if any at all. It's good to just run with an idea and batter it out.
There's a great overall feel to this image.
