I was on my deck looking up at a tree set against a nice sky.  I tried to reproduce it here.  Comments and critiques appreciated.

That's TG2TP?  No way!  Very good.  I like the lighting and the clouds are completely believable and beautiful.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Anything can be done in T2TP. I like the picture - it is by far the most realistic Terragen-generated image I have ever seen. I would have had no trouble believing you if you had told me that that was a photo...

Thanks, Dark Fire!  I always strive for realism, so that's the highest compliment you could give me.

with what did you make the tree model?

Will
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

The tree is the sweet birch from the free plants made available with the Tech Preview.  All I did was set the opacity of the leaves to 0.

child@play

really nice render o_b, great use of the tree model
perfection is not when there's nothing more to add, it's reached when nothing more can be left out

Buzzzzz

You got the Winter Sky down pat. Very nice  ;D

That's a clever way of getting rid of the leaves. I wonder what some of the other free trees would look like without leaves...
