The standard sphere in Blender :
Number of vertices at:994
Number of faces at:1024

All three spheres are imports from Blender.
Export settings standard with the Normals and HQ checked.
Sphere A: No Add Multires
Sphere B: Level 2 Multires,Catmull- Clark
Sphere C: Level 3 Multires,Catmull- Clark

You can also change the face count when you add the sphere mesh in Blender. Icosphere 4 divisions is enough, normally. UV Sphere 64 x 64 works well normally. Going multi-res multiples the face count rapidly. Remember to change the quad faces to tri faces. T2 likes tri faces better.
