Here's a fun one.  A view from the approximate location of the Kibo huts with Kilimanjaro in the foreground and Mount Meru (with lenticulars) in the background.

If that mountain close to the camera (relatively) is supposed to be Kilamanjaro, I'd suggest putting a little more snow on the top. Most of the pictures I see of Kilamanjaro have a nearly entirely covered snowtop.
Heard of computer graphics? CG? Terragen 2, the landscape generating program, also known as TG, a whole cool way to create realistic CG - with TG.

Oh I really like the mood of this render ... sometimes the atmosphere's grain is a good addition - combined with foreground's sharpness.

jbest might be right about the snow (as long as the global warming has not hit Nippon, yet) ... I'd like to prefer the artistical use of a point of view and creating an image of his' like ,-)

Love the lighting - this is very painterly.

Thanks guys.  The size of the ice cap changes dramatically throughout the year.  From the reference photos I found from this particular vantage point (Kibo Huts) there is very little snow visible.
