What kind of buying strategy he has is up to him. But i am more concernet about the mainboard chipset.
My mainboard is maybe 1 (or 2 ?) years old and doesn't support i7 CPU's (ASUS P5Q Turbo ) .
Now there will be new CPU's and they require a much newer mainboard then the i7 supported ones .
Not nice from a buyer perspective . But then all is about money !
AMD is a little more user-buyer friendly from this aspect . But maybe only why the are behind Intel
