I like it. Good sense of height. Have you tried redirect shaders?

1 - I'm 100% with Ryan, the first one is a great render.
2 - The 2nd version could've been great, but the light is not coming from an ideal direction. That fat shadow in the middle of the image... you know?

And as OB said, again you display a terrific sense for choosing the right colors.
