Here is a scene done in about 45 mins. from start to finish. 1 Fractal terrain  1 population of trees distributed by 1 paint shader. 1 snow shader over default base color. 1 Cirrus cloud layer. I moved  the sun to a lower position and tweeked the atmosphere colors a bit.  It truly is amazing how this program can produce such wonderful results with such little effort.

Came out nice. As you get into the program more, you'll be able to make more detailed landscapes with about the same time involved. It's the tiny tweaking for perfection which takes the most time.

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

You have done well for the short time you've spent working on it ...nice work.

[attachthumb=#]This is an update of my first image.  I did a lot of tweeking of light and color.  Of course I added a barn and furrows . I was in the process of adding a road and fence to the scene but when I used the erase paint tool it crashed the program and when I went to reload my tgd it crashes it too.  ??? What you see is an early image that I saved.  Maybe I will try this again later. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. I think you should put a little (patches) of white on the tree trunks (and larger branches) as well. I know these frosted trees mainly have it on their branches, but the contrast is a bit high IMO.
