Thsi is a ring I made in Blender and rendered in Indigo. It only rendered for half an hour so I have provided a render with just a monkey that rendered for 11 hours too.
Terragen: the universe in 56 kilobytes.

Pretty nice. Have you tried LuxRender for these? I believe LuxRender has a plug-in for Blender. It has one for Daz Studio, too.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

stick the ring in the fire and see if the runes appear
just dont read the runes aloud.
the ring render looks nice, a bit grainy though.

Agree with Calico, give lux a shot. I think you'll be happy with the results and it integrates with Blender better than any other renderer.
