Hi you all again!! I had to take a big break, but recently started to play around with TG again. I think I have to learn a lot new things now!!!
Anyway, I was trying to create some antarctica-like landscapes with icebergs and ice shelves and stuff. I played around with Geo control, imported the terrain and suddenly realized that this looks like a beach.
So the sun melted the ice and trees started to grow and here is another jungle again (I think I like jungles!). Hope you like it!

Nice! IMO I think the bushes shouldn't extend quite so close to the water...but that's probably just me wanting more room to spread out in the sand ;D

Dune

No comment at all, Hannes. I really like this. Perhaps some human activity in the form of a sail boat, perhaps... or some gulls flying across the water line.... or even a pterodactyl.

Great detailed work :)
Agree with the pterodactyl ;) !!

Very nice. You definitely need something in there, else from the point of view of photography it's an odd choice of composition imo.
It's certainly purdy.

I would not change anything.  8)

Wow, really nice image. I seriously don't get how you always get such realistic pictures.
Heard of computer graphics? CG? Terragen 2, the landscape generating program, also known as TG, a whole cool way to create realistic CG - with TG.

Hannes welcome back  :)

I really like this render !
The only part that i would like to change is the ground part that shows (the beach is fine) .

Hannes

Thank you all. It's good to be back. I'll try out some of your suggestions.

Welcome back! Very nice image. I personally would like to see more blue in the water though. The green may be realistic for some areas, but blue is more appealing in my opinion (more tropical and it goes with the palm trees in my mind). :)

glad to have you back.
i think looks fantastic, i like the feel of the piece, but i do think the bushes i to close to the shore, which isn't realistic imo.

Update:
I thought about your suggestions and I hope it's an improvement. Hope you like it :)

That is a great ship model. 8)
I like the first one, but the second is better. It would be cool for a Windows backdrop if it was rendered a bit larger. (I suddenly feel like Kadri!)
It is great to see you posting here again. Great inspiration!
