Hi all!!!

I'm Lalla, and I'm coming back here, after a graphic making pause.

Now, I've downloaded terragen 2 and trying to create something but...I've a big trouble...pc become too slow during render!!! Mouse's blocking, I can't do nothing during render.
I've an nvidia geforce 8800 graphic card, 4 gb memory, intel core duo processor, and never had troubles with graphics software (and I use zbrush, bryce 6, vue d'esprit, poser, all programs that use a lot of memory...).
Can you help me?
Thanks.

Unlike the other software packages you mention, TG2 does a pretty amazing job of using every bit of available computing power.  If this is not what you want then you need to restrict the amount of resources you are using.  The easiest way of doing this is to is under the "advanced" tab in the render node.  There are setting for Minimum and Maximum threads.  In your case with a two core system you would likely want to set the minimum and maximum threads to "1".  This way only one of your cores is ever used for rendering and the other core can be used for whatever else you are doing.
