this is gorgeous....I love everything about it except the terrain shading.....
the only other thing missing is maybe the center of focus....

this is great!! i really like it.
my only issue with this piece is that in the background the trees aren't there.
what tree model did you use?

It's strange how much you remember when you return to T2 - like riding a bike I guess.
I didn't touch the surface layers whatsoever, the tree models are Xfrog 'Grand Fir' and 'Black Walnut'

a bit of displacement on the slope and another tree pop on the bottom would make this a goodun

Wow, this is the kind of scene that I really want to create. But i cant get the stupid populations to work where I paint! its aggravating!! Anyways, this is amazing and I hope you keep it up
