Job Description
LA based Scholar is looking for an environmental specialist who is proficient in either Vue or Terragen. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience and have an online reel that represents adept skill to Environmental modeling/procedural generating. Spot requires an artist to create an environment that can hold up to a camera from ground level to orbit.
Preference is for artist to work on site at Scholar's Santa Monica studio.

I would not be surprised if  "Preference is for artist to work on site at Scholar's Santa Monica studio"
is actually ILM studios (Industrial Light and Magic) from Speilberg and Lucas 
Or perhaps some of the other 8 best well known art and effects film studios in the locality of Santa Monica.

Isn't "Gentleman scholar" a studio itself? I'd say so.

Does ILM have an office in Santa Monica? I know they still have major operations right here in San Francisco. Maybe you're thinking of Digital Domain?
