I haven't had much in the way of spare time recently but I have been able to put this "test" together. I wanted to see how easy it would be to set up interesting animated clouds that rendered in a reasonable time. Each frame took less than 5 min to render, quite reasonable and I think there's plenty of room for increasing the detail and quality settings without too much of a render hit.
The music, Movement Proposition, is from the free music site http://incompetech.com/, thankyou.
Enjoy and although I doubt I'll get around to doing much more on this feedback and C & C is always welcome.
cheers

very very nice Richard,
I like the last sequence the most,, but all are cool, as is the music, very atmospheric...

I like it a lot  :)
My only critic would be the middle sequence.
It looks too average relatively to the first and last sequence .
They are very nice!

Edit: Are there flicker issues or are they from the compression to mp4 , Richard ?
For animators this is problematic most of the time i see here!

Awesome work. The low clouds moving like this evoke a feeling of denser atmosphere. I really liked how the ship rose out of the low cloud layer.

Nice and smooth, Richard. And only a few little GI flickers. Great job here!

Brilliant work! and for such small render time!
