Lame name... ::)  I used an alpine fractal and strata shader for the base terrain features. Plants by Walli and Marc Gebhart. This was rendered with detail 0.4 and AA 4.

loving the rocks here...maybe some more colour detail on the cliff wall?
great lighting and mood!

This scene looks great, but I think your .4 detail needs a little work.
Heard of computer graphics? CG? Terragen 2, the landscape generating program, also known as TG, a whole cool way to create realistic CG - with TG.

The jpeg compression does not help with the image quality. I am rendering now at 0.7 detail and AA 8, 1920 x 572 resolution. The prepass is done; looks good so far.

!!! Nice.
Should be nigh on perfect, judging by the first post's image. I look forward to seeing it, a nice valley scene. I'd like to see a fly-through of it!

* Clone-brush out that single hot-pixel on the right-hand wall, Henry! ;)

One of your finest Henry, the light/atmo with this POV are very good.

It may be done about 12 am 5/15/2011. But maybe not. Memory is becoming a rare commodity on my computer.

Mighty fine Henry. Think about maybe closing the space between the distant conifers on the next use of them. This works well depending upon the lighting you set up.
