An older terrain with a different POV adding some vegetation and fauna.

Oh, nice :) It's quite realistic. Nice blend of green and canyon orange (or whatever that color is).

First thing that hits my eye is the tree and the not-so-great texture work there, but I'm guessing that wasn't a focus.
Heard of computer graphics? CG? Terragen 2, the landscape generating program, also known as TG, a whole cool way to create realistic CG - with TG.

Thanks for visiting. The tree depicts the 'Palo Verde' which has a smooth, green colored bark.

Very nice image , Choronr :)
Maybe a little dark but that is subjective .
I think, like Jbest , that the tree is not  high quality enough as the rest image .
And one nitpick ; the wolf forelegs are not on the ground .
But maybe this is a middle pose ;)
These beside you could post this as a photo anywhere!

Thanks Kadri. I did try some other textures on the tree; but, for me, it seemed to look best as it is. If I can find a good shot of a Palo Verde tree, I'll post it.

I didn't realize that the wolf wasn't 100% on the surface ...my mistake.

Here is a close up image of the smooth, green bark of the Palo Verde tree.

I love this Bob, I also agree with kadri...still an excellent and atmospheric scene!

Its looking super duper!  8) I like the idea of adding an animal (wolf) into the scene. Not sure
about the wooden fence though, but it also adds a cool touch. A most excellent TG2 render!
Many congratulations on a fine job!

Thank you. Actually, the cloud seed I selected enabled the lighting you see. You can get my .tgd file at 'File Sharing'.

Good work. It has a nice sense of scale!

I had to download the tgd file for this. Thank you for sharing it. You have helped me improve quite a bit, but there is a lot to absorb!
