Made this thingie for deviantart speed-painting battle..Well I didnt paint but anyway xD
Added the bits of trashes by comping some 3d max particle thingys and adjusted bit of curves in PS..

Great lighting and atmosphere settings. Glints of action on the model. I'd love to see an OBJ sequence with this.

Very nice image! It's atmospheric and different from what we mostly see here , Freelancah!
One nitpick is that it looks like the octopus has a generic texture (basic power fractal like color only) ?

But then i read it ones more , you said "speed-painting" !

How much time did you have?
