I really like the second one (the "before" one). If you'd add the sun with a realistic glow/glare that could easily be mistaken with a real photo.
The first one is also beautiful but it isn't realistic. When almost facing the sun the stars and galaxy/ies are not visible. Barely visible in deep space (like on earth).
Anyway, great job!

I like more 2001 but star trek is cooler than 2001.
