Heightfield Crop node parameters
June 07, 2011, 08:11:14 PM
I need to crop an image that I'm using for a heightfield and don't understand how the parameters for the Heightfield Crop node work. Could someone please explain the Top/Left Bottom/Right parameters in the heightfield crop node. Do they correspond to the coordinates of the planet's heightfield or to the image map being used to generate the heightfield? Thanks!

They are the coordinates of the corners of the crop rectangle, measured in meters, and relative to the Position Origin of the heightfield (which is set in the Heightfield Shader node, e.g. "Position Left", "Position Center", etc.).
