Hi Everyone,

i am very tempted by Terragen 2 and am contemplating to get the MEGA-BUNDLE: Terragen2 + 1,300 XfrogPlants + Xfrog 3.5.

Since most of my work will still be outside of Terragen, I wanted to know which of their libraries are included in these "1,300 XfrogPlants" - are all the XFrog Bundles/Librarys (Europe, Oceania, Asia, Indoor, Africa, Agriculture, Autmn, Bonsai, Blossoming, Groundcover, Fruit trees, Home gardens, houseplants...) included. And if not, how can I find out what exactly is included. Are these 1300 individual plant species or are also various age steps of one species counted?

Since the XFrog Software itself is included, can I just load up the XFrog file for any of the plants and export the Plants/Trees also as OBJ to another software? Has anyone tried this? How much of a hassle is it?
This sort of potential secondary use, would make the buy much more attractive for me. I would really appreciate if someone could let me know if this is possible.

Thanks a lot,
Jonathan

The bundles include 22 libraries of Xfrog plants, I believe they are all the Version 2 plant packages. On this Xfrog product page:
http://xfrog.com/category/X.html
They should be the ones *not* labeled "180 plants*. Beginning with Xfrog Plants Africa on the left side 5 lines down, you can count 22 libraries down to the bottom. These should be the ones included, though you would need to check with Xfrog to be certain.

The bundles do include all age variations for each species. You can load the XFRs in the Mega Bundle (but not the regular bundle as it does not include XFRs or Xfrog software). Once an XFR is loaded in Xfrog software you can fully edit and export it into multiple formats. You can even animate it. The Mega Bundle is an *extremely* good deal for that reason.

Hi Oshyan,

thanks for your quick reply. If you wouldn't min, I would greatly appreciated if you could check with XFrog and let me know. I think it might also make sense to specify this on your/their website, since I probably am not the only one who is wondering what exactly "1300 Plants" includes. It would also be great to know if all the auxiliary materials like PDFs are included.

Sorry to post this here, since is is really an XFrog question, but I thought I might get much more users, who are familiar with the workflow over here.

Again, thanks for the fast feedback,
Jonathan

The information about which species are included is (now?) on the product pages on their site: http://xfrog.com/product/XB-27.html

I sent them an email and asked which librarys were included. And suggested to include the information in the product page. Seems like they put it now.

Cheers,
