Computer ideas anyone ?

Buy as much power as you can afford. You'll be happier for doing so.

sounds like Henry is reaally desperate to get rid of that old Pentium 4, i guess him asking me to do all his animations on my 2600k was'nt enough.

if your willing to wait longer (a few months) and spend extra i would go for the socket 2011/sandy bridge E system, (more cores/threads)   

but if you really want it now i would get a sandy bridge 2600k system.
