Cool composition. Your bird at the shore line looks to be 10-15m in the air (judging by the distance the shadow and refection are from each other). You may want to check the objects elevation.

I think the swan is about 5 times too big at that location, in comparison to the trees. And I think you need to get some displacement in the muddy/grassy area.

Thanks guys - yes now you come to mention it the Swan does seem to be doing a strange hovering over the shore....and is rather too large. I will have a to send him back to earth...and will try some displacement on the shore. J

yes that swan seems a bit big
i think the shore could maybe use some better texturing / surfacing
the trees look good tho'

nicely set up!
If you are having problems setting the swan on the shore as a single object, you can make sure that it is sitting on the shore, by using a very small (area) population of required object, with restrictions applied to the said object's rotation (and spacing)...

Hi All,
Second attempt. Have managed some displacement on the shore to represent mud and anchored the swan to the ground, plus darkened the red on the lighthouse which was a bit pinky. Comments welcome as usual!

Looks good
The one thing now that stands out to me is the texture of the Lighthouse.
There are some photos that look nearly like this, but i think just a little power fractal dirt that is barely visible would be good too.
