If you want to learn how to paint empirically by combing multiple elements (like TG2, 3D and 2D painting, for example), this man has much to help - http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/news/2009/07/christian-lorenz-scheurer/

Thanks calico!
I have the DVDs by Dylan Cole (He was the reason I bought TG2 by the way) But his training vids left a lot out I thought. The training program you posted by Christian Scheurer looks like they will fill in a lot of information. So I will buy them as soon as I have some spare cash. Thanks

I have both and think both have something different, but the second one (http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/39/The-Techniques-ofChristian-Lorenz-Scheurer-2) might be better if you are already pretty good at using Photoshop to manipulate photos.  His concept is understanding values, shapes and colors.  He introduces what he calls combinatory play by using photos and painting along with PS procedures.  He is very explicit and very thorough in his teaching.

His first DVD is invaluable if you are just beginning to feel your own in Photoshop...in my opinion.
