Today, April 16th in 1943, Albert Hofmann accidentally experienced the effects of LSD 25 when the drug absorbed into his body through his fingertips.  More on Albert here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Hofmann

Not really, Will.  Albert believed LSD was a useful means to liberate the human soul and psychiatrists used this drug for about ten years to treat patients.  Legally.  Cary Grant was one who was so treated.  Albert regretted the backlash of the 60s and how it drew away from what he thought was the usefulness of the drug.

The father of 60s rock...boy, that's debatable.  But, it was music, not drugs that kick-started the 60s generated.  Maybe we can thank Elvis or the Beatles, but then again it's up for grabs.  Isn't it?

That is true, I'm a 90s child as most of you know so the 60s to me are a bit of a sterotype.
