Sphereical camera...how to?

Hey all, a long time since I have been on the forums...

I am currently trying to recommend TG3 to be used at the company I work for (btw, I personally haven't yet upgraded my home license from v2 to v3, so this is new to me right now), so I installed the trial (v3.1), and now I want to show off the spherical camera feature, but I can't find how to set it. I've read else where that all I need to do is select the "spherical camera option in camera settings", but for the life of me, I can't find that option on the camera anywhere. Am I missing something? Can someone post a screen shot of the spherical camera option in the camera settings dialogue box?

I also can't see the "layers" tab in the render node...am I missing something? I definitely installed v3.1
