Something different................C&C most welcome

Henry Blewer

The clouds seem to be too hard. Also, as in many of my renders, the grass color is too uniform. It's something I always forget to fix. Try adding a power fractal in between the image map shader and the default layer with a low saturation brownish yellow color. Use the measure tool to pick a scale size. I usually multiply this by 3 to get a fair lead-in scale.
Breaking up the wall and roof image maps with a slightly off color would help the building. Elongate the color along the y axis for a weathered effect.

This is a nice country scene. I hope you continue to work with it.

Made some adjustments to the clouds and color of the grass. More C&C please..................

The house is neat, but too flat and bright.  I'd go for something a little more rough and contrasty...if that's a word.  Other than that, pretty darn cool.

C&C here comes... the house needs to have more contrast and be darker overall, perhaps dirtier (extra PF), the grass needs more variety in color and types (it looks like only the internal grass) and is too high IMO. The house also needs some reflective (RT) shader attached to the windows glass area (if they are mapped separately). Perhaps some nice large boulders near the shore. Check out my just added 'Dune rocks' (other thread) for some nice lichened rocks.

There's a lot of good stuff in this image.  Might want to position the house just a tad more to the right so that the front door is aligned with the walkway

Final.............I hope.

Much better. I hate to do this, but the house needs some landscaping plants. Right now it has a 'just constructed' look to it. Some ornamental plants and some shade trees will help finish this.
