Roaming Giants

I'm working on an image where i incorporate giant statues, this is a concept where i take poser model and place it in terragen.
Right now the statue is hold in onto giant snake.
Its not the best composition but i'll get there, i haven't used terragen since 0.9 version so be patient with me.
Later on i will edit the model in zbrush to resemble more of a greek statue.
Any ideas are welcome.

Looking forward to seeing more of these. Hope to see a lot more detail, and larger size.

The clouds are going to be the defining element of these images. The giants (perhaps titans) size is nearly entirely defined by there placement relative to the clouds. And all of the depth is viewed in context because of the clouds.

The composition of the last image to this point is really good. clouds are good too. Just want to see more details!

I think the concept is working, so don't be afraid to move forward.

Lets do something different.

Lets pretend that who ever posts a request to change something specific is my boss and my job will be to fullfill the request as close as possible.
Lets see how far we (i mean you boss) can push this image.

Misguided Titan delivers a gift to a world but this delivery might be the end of life on this planet.

Ok se where am i with this image. I want to convey the urgency of that Planet Giver, so my next step is to do some minor adjustments to his body language.
Also i want to put a bolt into his mouth which keeps him from talking. Put more detailes in shackles.

Red and Green Planet needs to show continents, clouds ect.
The planet that he is holding i would like to put some cracks on the surface to show the damage that was done to it while holding it.

Another thing that would help would be some kind of interaction between two atmospheres.

Also some kind of damage to the planet due to gravitational pull etc.

I'm still deciding what to put on the foreground.

Hi man.
Ok I'll play.

The last image is starting to get a little to busy. You seem to be playing with a lot of ideas, which is cool, but choose what your trying to say. If you find you have more to say then one image can convey clearly, than make more than one image. Do a series.

There are to many titans in the last image. Keep the two!...or three that matter. the others are in the way. Go back to your first images in this thread, though they are less detailed they are working better. I think, because they are less cluttered for a start.

The new clouds are very surreal. This is fine, but the rest of your image strikes me as a play on classicism. The two insult one another, both in terms of visual aesthetics and meaning. Make a choice!

I agree with TheBadger: chains and other "teluric" stuff seems childish and misplaced IMO. Limit the act to characters only (those spheres - whatever they are - look fine as they are).

I also have a non-artistic observation, "scientific" that is: shouldn't those giants change their appearance towards their upper bodies? I mean from the hips up they're probably in outer space in low orbit altitude. Shouldn't they look a lot more foggy up there compared to the lower body? The parts in the shadow should blend into the color of the sky due to very low or zero air density (no light diffusion in vacuum)- observe half or quarter moon in the daylight.

Beside these shortcomings I think you have a winner idea there. Just make sure you spend the time and effort to bring it to life in a professional manner. Don't rush it!
