Well, this is of no surprise. Iran is a theocratic dictatorship after all. They have done this before. Hopefully the Green Party will continue to gain influence and overthrow the Government and form a proper democracy. I disagree with the sanctions and UN inspections. Allow the resistance to take care of the matter because they are being hurt to by Europe's actions. They want to bomb Israel, well Israel has three hundred nukes and a good size Air Force so they can end it in a day if Iran dared attack them. Iran should be no one's concern. Rather then depending on Iran's oil exports, those nations should be Oil independent and drill there own.
Agree, if the people would have supported the dictatorship and would share the ideas/direction then it would be "justified" to sanction them.
The UN inspections is a difficult matter. I personally don't believe there's much reason for concern, yet they try to make us believe it is damn necessary.
That's what our politicians use as a tool to get support.
What Iran does is pressurizing people with a "with me or against me" tactic like the US usually does when it doesn't get support for military operations.
However, as Chris pointed out the theocratic part of the dictatorship abuses its powers and the "rules" of the Islam/Sharia to control the people.
You can't kill anybody for making a programm, but once it's against Allah it's treason of the highest grade and death sentence is justified, for them.
