Now this looks really good! I wonder what it costs to get use of a motion capture studio though, to make the capture in the first place.

You get Jimmy Rig, then you get Kinect (with xBox, of course) and that's it.  You can do it in any room as long as matches the specs.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

LOL!

I didn't have my headphones on the first time I looked at your link. Thats really great stuff!
I looked a couple of other utube vids on it. I could not find anything about the set up. I already have an x-box, but I don't need the game system for this do i? If not, then How do I hook the kinect up to my mac? I have to look into this more.
Nice share calico :D

*Ok, I see now. Nothing for mac, as usual.

First, you need a base 3D package - I guess I wasn't very clear.  But, you can get LW Educational for under $200.  Then there's the cost of the software - another $200.  But, in effect, since you already have an xBox and Kinect, you can create any motions you want and then transfer these to characters...even DAZ characters.  But, this was showing with a LW character, if I remember correctly.  A lot of people on the Lightwave forums love this JimmyRig.  A few other options are available.  One is free and you submit a character to the site to have it fit for a preset motion capture - http://www.ikinema.com/webanimate/webanimate.php
