Its pretty darn good! I would still like to see an animation. When 2.4 is released I really hope there is an explosion of animating in this forum.

I still think the snowy owl is far too small. They are about 50-60 cm length, and the distance between barbs is maybe 10-15cm, so the owl should maybe be at least 2-3 times as large. Then again, a snowy owl would probably not sit on a fence. It may also be a tengmalm's owl, or similar US version, which is much smaller and may fit the bill, but would be differently colored.

But it's a nice image anyway!

May I suggest lowering the saturation of the ivy leaves and branches? I think it would sit better with the rest of your scene. Maybe even slightly lighter value branches.
