Hi Guys

I'm moving house from Glastonbury to a small village just outside Wells, Somerset.

This means no webtinet for a few days :(

I'm hoping to get my computers (my render allotment) moved over and back up and running in a day only but to be honest I think there may be some office build work to do first. This will involve power tools and carpentry, something I can do but generally avoid. However on the plus side the new area is great for dog walks with Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills just outside the door, stunning views across the Vale of Avalon and will be much nearer to Bristol for work.
See you in a few days :)

Richard

ps I so hate packing, no, no I really do ...

Hi Richard,

Good luck with the move. I'm actually moving house this weekend myself. Fortunately we don't have a whole house full of stuff to move as we've been anticipating this move for a long while and most of our stuff is in storage or still in boxes. It also helps that the new house is only a few hundred metres down the road :-).

Hoping to be up and running again on Monday when we get the phone and broadband hooked up. However I did all the phone and data wiring myself so I guess I'll get to see how good a job I did with it...

Regards,

Jo

Good luck with the move Rich, and careful with those tools mate.

I'm contemplating another move, and even that's a bit stressful  :-\

After we married we moved 4 times in 6 years or so. luckily since 5-6 years no move .
I hate it too and feel your pain Richard !

I moved over 7 years ago...still got stuff in boxes!
great place to live Rich.
Being a Bristle Boy, I used to spend a lot of time there especially picking mushrooms up at the Priddy mast...!!

YA-hoo.  Time to move.   :o  Hope it's a good one.

(I like that icon, but it looks like he's just goofy, like I am acting...not shocked)
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Moved in at last, well mostly. No internet to speak of. For now using the BTFON wifi network which is ok(ish). Still no studio/office and almost everything is in some variety of box. And the dust, there is so much dust, it never seems to end. Probably another week and things will be back to what passes for normality round these parts.
Cheers

It seems, it's moving time. I'll be moving flat in about two weeks. But I'm very, very happy. My wife and I have been waiting almost three years for this one. It's in a house built in the seventeenth century directly below an old castle in a small german town. We already live in that town, so it's not too far away.

cyphyr

Sounds great, hope it goes smoothly :)
I cant stand characterless houses (although a good view can make up for its lack)  but I suspect a 17th century house/castle will be dripping in it :D
