That's pretty crazy! It looks like you used at least two cloud layers. Could you describe this a little bit more?

that is spectacular, although I don't like the grittiness, I'd increase the smallest range a bit.

it is just a cumulus layer with high variation and buoyancy and clumping variation set to 0

Very nice! Probably a Ridges fractal going on there too! Seriously have a go at applying a branch from the same fractal to the terrain and see what you get.
