any idea when it's due to drop...lost track of time but it does seem quite a while that I've been seeing posts quoting it...

As is typical for our release schedule, it may be up to 2 months after the release of the licensed version before the corresponding free version is released.

I understand, I guess what I was asking was when did it drop for paid users, so I don't have to go be disappointed every day when I check, but go at a closer interval to the date...maybe even bang on the day....

woo hoo...it dropped today, or maybe yesterday as I didn't get out of the recording studio all day. I must say first off that having shaded models in the preview is a major placement improvement. Rendering seems faster and I'm getting sharper imags with the same settings....Many thanks for this gift PS folks...anticipate even more fun when loading up interior stuff with the shaded preview....off to play
