It would be most excellent if there were a way to move or delete a single individual from a population.

Also, I was wondering how to get wireframes for my objects in the 3d preview window. I saw recently that this can be done, and I was wondering if its just the objects I use, or the setting I use which prevent it from working for me. As it is now, I get a bounding box no mater what.

These two things would go a long way in helping me to more easily edit my scenes.

Thanks for reading.

The 3D preview has a button at the top that looks like a blue square. Choose wireframe from the drop-down. Then you may need to change the preview mode *in your object(s)* (preview mode: wireframe).

Regarding the wireframe mode; did you click on the setting above the preview window to attain it?

Also, maybe doing some reseeds of the population will put them in a better position. Regarding rotation, I always set this to something other that 360 for better results (a tip I got from Thelby).

Just inversely blend the population by a SimpleSS or painted mask covering the nagging individual that you want out.

Hi,

As Dune says the Painted Shader used as a density shader can be quite useful for removing individual population instances.

You can also control the thickness or thinness of your population by adjusting the values for x and y (or is it A and B)?
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Thanks Oshyan, cant believe I never clicked that before, but there you have it.

Thanks everyone else, Ill try those suggestions. Still, it would be nice in the future if you could just click on the individual and hit delete, or even move it.

No worries.
