Wow that was very cool. To have an image of that tire moments after the landing was exhilarating to say the least! Congrats to the thousands of engineering types that pulled this off. Can I go to bed now?

On this day I was at the Japanese memorial watching the jet carrying the commandant of the US Marine Core as it flew in and landed at Henderson field on Guadalcanal.
