No, no fakestones.
Its a Default shader that has the same fraktal as blending and displacement shader. Translucent, reflective, et voilá.

Zaai, I actually tried to imitate your translucent Ice, I wondered if you put the underground colour on top of the whiteish ice again depending on the thickness (was that understandable?)
thats what I got of it.
