Nah, I could easily make the TG function noises conform to a 3D volume, it was more just the challenge of creating a cloud that has the actual dimensions of any given object's surface-normal that was interesting me. I wasn't concerned with the cloud's interior either, a solid shape would have been just superb.
To be honest, I'm quite let down that I couldn't do it internally, I like the puzzle of trying to find ways of doing the seemingly 'impossible', at least the unlikely, with a bit of lateral thinking. This time, I am truly defeated! I guess using an imported map will have to do, for now. :/
No big deal, though. It was just an excersise for my own fun while I had some spare time.
