A good start, but there are a couple of suggestions if you don't mind.
I would add more grasses and ground cover, and make the clumps smaller, so you have completely covered areas and other areas that are more sparsely covered. This close to the ground you will see a lot of detail, so add it in, dry leaves, sticks from the trees etc. I would also do the same for the flowers clump them together so they are not so evenly spread out.
Drop the camera just a little so the branch is not so cutting the image in half.
Move the sun so it's slightly more to the right of the camera, less behind the camera, this will create a more dramatic feel, you can add in more ambient light or increase the exposure if the image becomes to dark in the shadows.
I would also consider adding in a rock or pool at the centre of the clearing (but to one side of the image) to add a point of visual focus.
I'm sure others will have other suggestions quite possibly in entirely different directions.
