T-U made me look in my old T2 folder. Found this. Did some work tonight on it.

I just find that Im too harsh on my self. If I have ever given someone here negative feed back, believe me, its nothing compared to what I tell my self.
With that in mind I thought I should let someone else who is impartial to the image, have a say. Because otherwise I will never put anything in my portfolio.

The image is meant to be a matt background for something else I have been toying with.

So yes?
I could use some criticism that makes sense here guys

I think the clouds are too 'busy' and the displacements (right area) look like the are crossing themselves, so to speak. Too much redirection, I'd say. But for a far backdrop.... maybe. But I think you can do much better, Michael!

I never felt very strongly towards this one. There are some things I liked and could not pull out from the things I did not like. Had to make sure though, did not want to throw it away if it had any value.
I am glad I can let it die now.

I'll be honest.  I don't like it, and I'll tell you why.  Mountain shapes seems a little off.  As does the composition of the frame.  There is no context in the image.  The best part about the image, however, are whatever colour you're using for your atmosphere, and the clouds in the background are pretty neat.

The Black and white one probably does look a lot better. You chose an ambitous scene which is good. I agree with the others about the clouds and the displacement mess ups but the rock surface is good.
