Pretty much all human civilization is based on the same or similar assumptions about what and who man is, these ideas transcend all religions, all sciences and all art. They are the bases for all human culture. It would be impossible for *me* to define it exactly.
We would not be alone in the universe, but we would be adrift forever. Lost.
If pyramids are found on other worlds, then we are not who we thought we were. Everything we "know" about the past is wrong. We know nothing about our selves and likely never will, since we will likely never reach one of these exoplanets planets in person.
In all likely hood civilization would unravel. And unlike 5000 or 500 or even 100 years ago when man did not have the power to destroy the earth, now we have it... A thousand fold.
Fiction writers and new age religions seem inclined to believe that such a discovery wold draw man together. But I think they should look out the window.
Inevitably the pyramid builders would be called the "true gods", mans creators, our fathers. A week later there would be a war. people are crazy, this would make them completely nuts.
The conclusion is just a theory, but the premise is history, sociology and anthropology.
Its kinda nice that a render made me think about this! Usualy I have to pay $10 bucks to go see a film

I don't mean to say that there cant be life on other worlds. Just that it did not come here and build the pyramids.
But of course, I can prove neither point
