I actually like this a lot!
First, I like the clouds. I like everything about them, except perhaps, the amount of grey tone in them. Just a little to much grey maybe?
The effect of the light on the clouds, and the atmo beneath is fantastical!
The ships are like wales coming up for air in the sea.
There is a hint of something excellent here.
On the negative side, the image is rather loose compositionally. Its missing something too... It feels like the image is floating with the content (not really solid).
Hard to put my finger on it.
Anyway, I would develop this! It gives me tons of ideas just looking at it.
