Well, you see, it went like this... It started life as a lot lighter scene, more elevation to the sun, so you could see a lot more of the rock face, but I made the mistake of "just seeing what it would look like with the sun lowered".... and ended up with this. I might render out one with the sun higher, just to prove there is some variation, and there are quite a few rocks / stones too :-)
Edit:- A lower quality lighter version... OK, so yeah, the rockface could do with a bit more...
