Hi guys.

I know what a good portfolio is in the areas I have worked and for the subjects I studied in school. But 3D is something I started learning on my own pretty late in life compared to people who start out in 3D focused art studies.
I simply have not seen a lot of 3D portfolios/demos from entry level (fresh out of school) artists. Or at least not through the eyes of an employer.

I wanted to ask any of you who work in the industry (some place that does a lot of work with 3D) if you could direct me to some on-line demos and portfolios of what *your* company considers a bad, good, and great *"Entry Level"* demo/portfolio; Generalists and specialists, games, film/TV and print (whatever you have knowledge of and an opinion of)

Not looking for the demos of veteran's or famous artists. Just some really good examples of entry level applicant's work. The stuff that gets people hired and the stuff that gets them a "don't call us and we won't call you" response.

It will be fine to post or PM me links, but I would also really like some POV on the topic. IF you are a person involved in the hiring process where you work, I would really like to hear a critique from you about an example or two. And no, don't worry, I wont bother you for a job. I just want information and an experienced opinion or three on the issue.

And for anyone who has a link to a portfolio/demo you can post that too. But I really want to know how that person's work was received; Did he/she get hired? What did the interviewer say about the work? Stuff like that.

A GREAT BIG THANKS, if you can provide some links and words on this topic.
It has been eaten.
