My first hour with T3. I used the T2 fasttrack manual as a rough guide and I am sure made some mistakes for not properly knowing what exactly I was changing in terms of sliders and such, but this came out. A friend of mine said it looked like Lapland, so here it is  :o

Good start :)

Thanks! I am planning to create one scene every evening, of course quality is more important than quantity, but I need to feel comfortable seeing and working with the GUI. Plus, playing with settings and learning the tech. part is much easier without the pressure of only rendering awesome and correct looking pieces.  ::)

Welcome to the forum, Ambiroa. You're right trying to make a render every evening, TG3 takes practice to learn. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask them. A lot of answers can be found by browsing older posts or using the search button, but if you can't find an answer, shoot. Plenty of folks around to give you hints.

Thanks! Maybe some feedback you want to get rid of on my visual?  ;)

As others have said this is a good start.
A couple of pointers :
Try lowering the scale of the waves in the water (this is measured in meters and it looks like you've left it at default, 10m)
I would soften the cloud edges a little and maybe increase their lead-in and smallest scale a little.
Try adding a beach just above the waterline.
Add some fake stones (check out the file shareing section for some examples)
Hope this is of some help

Thanks. Yes I did leave some settings at default, didn't want to go overboard with the enthusiasm and change everything that can be changed.  ;D
I made a choice to play with the settings that I am guessing to know what it means and then just skipped to other tabs haha.  ;)

It sounds like you have a workable plan for learning.  Get comfortable with the general options by working quickly without getting bound up in details .  Once you know your way around you can start experimenting with the more in depth settings a few at a time.  As has been said there is a wealth of help to be found in these pages and if you can't find what you need it doesn't harm to ask.
